1980: Two of my cousins my sister and myself were having a sleepover at my house. We were very young, I was twelve. One of my cousins was sitting on the floor and my sister and my other cousin were talking to my sister's boyfriend who was outside our window.
My cousin started staring at the doorway, I followed her gaze and noticed an apparition floating in the doorway. We were transfixed by the white apparition and it seemed that we couldn't speak

for what was seconds but felt like minutes.
My cousin behind me saw it I guess and immediately started yelling for my mother who for some odd reason

could not hear us. My sister told her boyfriend to leave as my father might come instead. My sister was the only one who didn't see it.
One week later my sister came down with the flu and something called Reyes syndrome and died in a matter of days, she was 14 and healthy. Was it an angel calling her? Was it a ghost? I don't know.
But what I saw and what happened so soon after made me believe in ghosts.
