After my parents divorced my mom and I moved into this ugly little two-story house. My room was the only room upstairs. We turned the other living room into a second bedroom for my sister. The upstairs had these little crawl spaces in the rooms that if you crawled through you would end up in the other room. At night I would hear strange things from the little crawl spaces tapping, scratching, or something that almost sounded like dragging. I ignored

it and ended up putting things in front of the crawl space doors at night, so they could not open.
The upstairs floor was incredibly creaky. Whenever

someone would walk down the tiny hall in front of my door, you could tell with no doubt. I was home alone one evening, and my mom was working late. I was hanging out in my room watching TV and texting some friends about some useless Junior High drama when I heard someone walking. I assumed it was just my mom, but I found it odd seeing that she never comes upstairs and just yells at me from the bottom.
