There were always strange things going on in the woods at Lakeside Park after dark, especially late at night. On Halloween there would be people right out in the open by the pond, practicing witch craft, devil worship, or whatever you want to call it. The rest of the year they confined themselves to the woods. As kids, we would go into these woods and find evidence of their activities like pentagrams on the ground, dead animal carcasses, etc. I am

convinced that somebody either knowingly or unknowingly invited something to those woods and to that area that is not of this world.

see the park and the woods from the house that I grew up in. When I was three or four, I wet the bed one night. Feeling ashamed of myself, I took off my underwear and walked to the garage to put them in the washing machine. When I opened the door to the garage, there was something standing there on the far side of the garage. The light was still off, so I only saw the silhouette of the thing.
