It's been forty-three years since my encounter with Screaming Sheila at Ringland Lake. Three of us all boisterous teenagers with attitudes drove out to see this so-called ''ghost'' and was ready to prove that ''she'' was nothing but a hoax. on back of my neck. I don't mind saying that all the ''macho'' I came with was suddenly gone.
I was yelling ''Get out of here!! Go!! Go!!'' It was very apparent that I wasn't the only one scared witless! Both of my friends were yelling, and when we tried to start the car the battery wouldn't crank the motor; it was dead! The screaming continued for what seemed an eternity, and then it ceased as suddenly as it started. We were all yelling and
