After we got home we realized it was Friday the 13. There's more stories but I don't want to type any more. . Submitted by Jamie

If I remember correctly, screaming Sheila is said to have happened at Ringling Lake. I went out to the bridge one night with 2 friends and waited at midnight for her to show up. Couldn't have been a better setting. The moon was full, it was right at midnight, and the lake was full almost up to the bridge. Unfortunately nothing ever happened. I like to think it would if you were alone, but I think being in a small group might have ruined our chances.

There has been told by many people that at Eastland Lake a woman who they call Screaming Shelia has been spotted around the lake. The story that I have heard is that Shelia, her husband and their newborn baby boy were driving across a bridge that went over Eastland Lake when Shelia and her husband got into an argument and Shelia's husband got mad and swerved the truck causing the truck to go off the bridge. Shelia got thrown out of the truck into the water away from the truck were her baby boy was. She swam trying to go save her baby but didn't make it in time. Feeling someone pull her under the water was her husband. He drowned both him and her. To this day they say if you go out to the lake you will her to horrifying scream of Shelia looking for her baby boy still.
