I lived in Edinburg TX at Heritage Square Apartments #24, and the first night I moved in I had a strange feeling upstairs like something was there watching me, so I put holy water on my bedroom door. That night I closed my bedroom door, and my cat was terrified throwing himself at my bedroom door until I opened it and let him in. The whole time I lived there my cat would not go in the office room across from mine upstairs.

visiting, and she was on her way out, so I sat on my stairs to the right of the entrance, and my nephew who was about 4 years old played on the stairs

behind me until he got scared because he said there was a man standing at the top of the stairs. My sister and I could not see him, but I knew something was there since I moved in. I moved out and never found out what happened there.

Dennis haunted us for many years. He was a character the FD guys would say. He would sneak up behind you and blow into your hair, cold cold chills. He would slam doors, turn on and off lights, turn on the shredder and the copier, flush the toilet, and call your cell phone. I don't know how since he passed before cell phones. It must be 30 plus years back, and I never met him much less gave him my cell number. One time I was training a funny new guy, and we were report writing. A door just slammed shut. The FNG and I searched the building, but we didn't find anyone. I called Dennis' name. Then the temp dropped to like 50 degrees quick. Yeah, most old buildings have their spirits like the old MPF FD station house on Tom Landry.
