I have lived in Edna all my life. As a child we moved into my deceased grandmother's house on Brown Street. I would see her walking around the house. When I slept on the couch in the living room I could hear her pacing in front of the couch.
When I was pregnant with my daughter we lived in an old house near HEB. I could always smell cigar smoke at night. My niece who was four at the time would ask me who was in my bedroom. I would tell her

no one, and she would insist there was a man in there. I was told it used to be where the blacksmith lived.
The whole area around the Navidad River

gives off a ominous feeling. People have been reporting unusual sightings since the early 1800s.
We now live in El Toro, and it seems that our farm is haunted as well. There are three houses on our property, and all of them have ghosts. A man lives in my closet. He has turned down my covers for me. He has made the empty hangers swing erratically.
