When I told some of the other students about my encounter they laughed. Later that day they told a faculty advisor and he did not laugh. It was common knowledge among the faculty that the running trail I was on when I encountered the apparitions was haunted. Score one for me. Submitted by Jim

I remember also when I lived in El Paso, Texas. I used to live in a house with my grandmother. I was 9 years old and I used to take care of her before my parents came from California to over there to pick us up. I remember I used to live in a house there that was haunted. Also day or night I really used to see this lady dressed in black; she used to walk across my room without making noise, or the bathroom would be locked up, and you could hear someone taking a bath. I used to get in trouble because my grandmother used to think it was me. Later she'd open the door and she's seeing nobody was in there and the bathtub was not wet. Sometimes you could see at night a ball of fire size of a basketball pass through our kitchen window. It wouldn't mind you if you would see it. It would hit the ground but you could hear the flames crossing the window. When we used to see the lady dressed in black my grandmother was very religious, she was very Catholic, when we used to see the lady pass by she used to say to me to say the 'our father'. When I was at that age I really do know what a ghost was. I'd see it pass by and just say whatever, but it also it's very famous in some of it's haunted houses there.
