All of my friends and I grew up in the upper Valley area on the Westside of El Paso. We all went to Coronado High School. I can say that I never heard the tale of the kids killed in the bus accident in the ''haunted tracks'' on thunderbird. But I can say, that driving home from several parties while attending High School at Coronado. I had creepy feelings driving down thunderbird at night. It always just gave me the Willies. And this was like, at 2 or 3 am.It's always so cold and quiet up there. And if you look out over by where the homes on the golf course are, or even in the valleys between the mountain, I swear you can see things ''floating'' around. But this is the real story I want to submit. When I was 16, I worked at stateline restaurant over here on the Westside. My ex-boyfriend and I (I am now married) were driving home from work. It was around 2:30 am, and we had been drinking with friends and co-workers after a long shift.Well, there is this Street, riverbend which is located next to frontera Street. It's near marwood Park which is considered the older part of the Upper Valley. Anyways, we were driving down the street, and there we see a boy about our age at the time just walking down the side of the road, near the ditch.I asked my ex boyfriend Matt if he had seen what I saw. He said yes and decided to speed up a bit to see if it was one of our friends perhaps walking home. Well, it wasn't. When we got closer he turned around and looked at us.I got this cold, horrible feeling come over me. I remember Matt looked at me with this scared look on his face. The boy turned around and kept walking. He was very, very pale and had dark hair.He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. When we turned around to look back... The boy was no longer walking there. This is where we really freaked out. I am scared just thinking about this. I started to smoke a cigarette when we got closer to where marwood is.And all of the sudden, the cigg gets ripped out of my hand. I had my hand already out the window so smoke could stay out. When I look forward, there we see again, that same kid walking down riverbend. This time, he was a lot closer to St. Matthews church. That was the scariest thing I had ever experienced. We knew that was a ghost. It was just too creepy not to be. Matt and I both had later learned that back in the late 1970's a kid that went to Coronado hung himself of this old Willow tree that sits on the opposite side of the ditch from riverbend. There are no lights on the street, only the ones that light up marwood. The street is always foggy around 2-4 am. There is also a real person, who we call ''trenchy'' because he wears a surgical mask over his face and a black trench coat and walks the street after midnight. He was spotted a lot over the summers of 2004,2005, and 2006. Several of my friends have pulled over and tried talking to him, but he never responds back. He is also very, very pale. But he has blonde hair, and dresses ''gothic''.If any of you know what I am talking about, or have heard of the boy on riverbend please post! Thanks all, and have a safe and happy Halloween! .

One night when I was home alone I heard a knocking on my front door. When I went to see who it's was it got even louder and I heard something fall in my room. The knocking continued so I looked out the peep hole to find that there was no one there.
I freaked out and ran back to my room. I was trying to figure out what had fallen but I couldn't find what it was. I decided to just forget about it. I was getting ready for bed so I had the TV on and I was listening to my iPod then all of a sudden my power went off I thought it was my brother playing tricks on me so went to his room but I was still alone.
I went to the garage to the light thing (don't know what it's called) and tried to see if it was off but the switch was on. I turned it off then turned it back on. The lights in the house took a while to come back on.

I went back inside to make sure all the doors were locked when I heard a little girl laughing. I turned around but didn't see her. The next day I told my mom what had happened and she had told me a little girl had drowned in the backyard.
