I have lived in Encinal for years. My first experience (seeing) a ghost was at the age of 13 it looked like a plastic bag from far away as I was walking near the tracks as it got closer I noticed it was not a plastic bag flying towards me in the air but a dress.
Some how I could not move. I notice that the white antique dress was floating in the air and on the long sleeves of the dress it was very clear it had greyish hands. What was more

scary this ghost had no head and flying straight at me I ran as fast as I could and didn't see it no more.

In 1992 I was living on front Street in Encinal, Texas. It happened at my grandmas house. I was sleeping in a bedroom close to the kitchen. It was about one in the morning I started seeing the curtains blowing and the windows were close my bed was floating and I couldn't get up it was like something was holding me down, then my sheets came off of me and the curtains started blowing faster.
I saw something standing close by the door, then it felt like someone was hitting me. Finally at the end I broke loose somehow. I ran to the door by the time I know the figure wasn't there no more, I turned on the light and I had imprints all over my stomach and chest.
They say back then in the old days that there was an old cemetery where the house was built it still haunts till this day now. It's strange I saw many things go on in that house sometimes you can hear change falling on the floor, people talking, dishes breaking, even during the daytime.
