I used to live on Fabens way back in the 70s. I remember being in our living room and hearing someone screaming. We used to live by the river. I remember hearing a cry from someone out there and we did not know what it was.

People used to say it was a teacher. At night you could hear her screaming like someone was killing her.

Comment by Maria: Oh my God, my best friend lived really close to the river in Fabens and one night like at 3 or 4 am we heard that same scream you describe, we got so scared, it still freaks me out.

My brothers, his friends, and I were outside like 12:00 am in the canal. We saw a lady crying. ''where are my children? '' we turned around and saw a woman in a white dress floating. We went inside running to my house. Then we looked out the window, we saw her and then she vanished.
