We thought maybe her car had broke down and after we passed her decide to turn around and go help her. She turn into the wooded area on an old dirt road and she was gone. We could not find her.

My dad owned a ranch. He and his brother Leo bought it together. Dad welded a fence of pipe and bought an old school bus. He put electricity, beds, and bathroom. It was very nice. My brothers would stay the night, but every time after midnight they came home. They explained that they could hear lots of voices, and they could see people walking in a trail walking like with lanterns. They explain they tried to get close enough, but they got this eerie feeling. They decided not to pursue.

I do remember while looking for calves I came across a very old grave site. My dad said ''leave it alone. Respect the dead. '' I think I remember my dad building a fence around it. I remember asking my dad how someone would be buried in the middle of nowhere. Dad explained to me that back in the day when people would travel by wagon there was a trail they took every year to Santa Fe, NM for traded. It was obvious some got sick or starvation killed them. There is no telling what happened. Either way I believe something supernatural took place at my dad's ranch.

He sold it some years back. Dad is still alive 87 and still lives in Falfurrias. Hopefully this was something to keep the town alive.

One day I was reading a book called ''Ghost stories of old Texas'', I was reading this story about Falfurrias where this lady and this man were about to have a baby. One day the husband went out of town, then she went with another man. When her husband came back he found out and claimed to find the tallest tree and hanged her.
