I own acreage near the old P.O.W. Camp in Princeton, TX that has been made into a park/baseball field. This is partially wooded and cleared property, and Tickey Creek runs through all of it. On approximately seven occasions in a year time period very strange things occurred. The happenings did not take place in the back of the property, nor in the dark deep woods as possibly expected. Instead the incidents all occurred very close to College Street and

close to the bridge of Tickey Creek that goes into the park. Another shared scenario is that they only took place between 6:00 pm and 8:30 pm. I never

felt scared being alone way back in the back or in the deep woods, but as I would be walking back to my car after feeding, I would hear distinct footsteps about ten feet from me. They stayed always at the base of the sparse tree line which I could see clearly through. Nothing was ever there.
The main and scariest occurrence happened on a day we had just received so many inches of rain. Tickey Creek was so flooded it looked like a raging river roaring
