I lived on blackland Rd in Fate across from sleepy hollow subdivision for 2 years. We heard voices calling out at night on a regular basis. Toys would turn on by themselves and on several occasions when I would come home from work and open the door to our house I would here a train as loud as if it was right in front of me.
It sounded as though it was coming to a stop. On many occasions my dog would stop and not go into another room she would freeze and then turn around and whimper. On one occasion I was laying in bed and kept hearing what sounded like my daughter calling out ''mom'' so I went to her room and woke her and while asking her if she called out we both heard it again.

This went on for over an hour with someone calling out for mom in the same tone about every 30 seconds. Many of our friends and family would tell us they felt as though someone was behind them or watching them.

We have since moved but I will never forget the experiences we had there. I keep searching the internet to see if anyone else experienced these things in Fate ad that's when I found this site. I searched the history of Fate and the area we lived in hoping to find anything that would give answers to why these things were happening but haven't found anything.

Comment by Casey: Did you see the only story on here with the same occurrence? I am sure you lived in the same house. If the same things happen it is likely not a conscious haunting. More like a spiritual impression made due to traumatic events. If the home is near water it could help ''capture'' the impression.
