About ten years ago my family was visiting during the Fourth of July festivities and spent the night at a local motel. At the time I was about five months pregnant and sleeping next to my husband. During the night I opened my eyes, and the room seemed to transform into a different era. A woman was straddling me and had her hands gently upon my chest. Of course I was scared and began yelling for my husband to wake me up. I had experienced a night terror previously,

For years I asked around to see if anyone had heard of anything similar happening. Then in 2018 my husband was out

working one day in the west Texas oilfield. He ran into someone he knew, and they began chit-chatting.
Anyhow, this man told him the same thing happened to him even before my husband mentioned my experience, but this man also mentioned a Native American and visions of a hanging. I got curious and began googling ghost stories. Lo and behold I came across the story of Alice who was captured during the 1800s and was never seen again. She is said
