We stayed at the Limpia Inn in Fort Davis in March 2016 and didn't even know anything but wanted to stay as close to Marfa as we could, and everywhere was booked solid. We stayed in room 15 the annexed building. My wife never believes any ghost stuff, but when she walked in she immediately asked if the place was haunted. Not knowing, we tried to look it up, but the internet was not working. She got goose bumps all over and said it was creeping her out. About 12:30 am she said she woke to banging on what she thought the interior wall. It was so loud; it woke her up. (This is a person who literally slept through an earthquake. )
Anyway when she got up it was dead silent. She grabbed her handgun and went looking around thinking someone was trying to break in. She heard nothing when she got up. I had no idea any of this was going on. She went back to sleep. At 3:15am I was awoken to what I heard loud banging on the outside wall just above the bedroom we were in. I woke up, and it was silent. I went looking around myself and couldn't find anything. We didn't know of each other's experience until we discussed it later the next day.

Our children were with us, and they both said the roll away bed moved several times and blamed the other for doing it. We also heard water running when there was no water running in the room. There were sounds next door like someone was running up and down the hallway. Never confirmed if anyone was in there or not. My wife is convinced this place is haunted just by the feelings she got and those experiences. Typically she says it's bogus, and the stuff ends up being fraud. This is the first time she has ever felt something was truly haunted. Definitely something to check out. Came here after getting back home and learning of stories of haunting there.
