I have two from the bank. My grandparents used to clean the Pecos State Bank when I was a kid in early 1990s. This was back when we used to buy the cokes from a vending machine with glass bottles. One time my brother and I were running around playing, and we wondered into the basement area. There was a bank employee in business clothes walking briskly with files across room. He looked at us while shifting a thick file as he walked. We went back upstairs, so that we wouldn't get in trouble for disrupting the worker.
When we came up from the basement my dad was cleaning the trashed from the bathrooms in this big room behind the teller wall. He asked where we were, and we told him that we were in the basement but left because of the worker. He just looked at us serious and said ''don't be going down there''.

The second story is when I fell down those same stairs to the basement in my walker as a baby. I have incredible memory. I remember walking around in my walker as my parents and grandparents would clean the bank. I even spoke my first word in that bank. My mother would call out for my grand father ''lalo'' when she needed him and that was my first word. (This is reference for anyone who can remember this time frame of my family.) I was in my walker and got too close to the stairs and slid all the way down to the bottom of the stairs at the basement.

My Walker was facing the opening of the basement, and someone was comforting me and soothing me after the fall. I remember my mom at the top of the stairs screaming ''omg he went down the stairs'' and my grandpa skipping down the stairs. As he was coming down, the person was waving good bye and waling away. Then my grandfather scooped me up. Both instances were after bank hours. Submitted by Lascano

In a recent visit to Fort Stockton we had an experience in the Guard House. It was a stockstill day. No wind. We all took turns taking pictures in the cell. When I got in the cell tons of flying particles were going crazy back and forth in front of the camera. My sister got in front and nothing. My niece got in front, and it was crazy. My sister got back in and nothing. Then I heard a spirit say ''they kept me here in the dark.'' A spirit followed my niece around the fort.
