I used to live Ft. Stockton and glad I moved. That man in black haunts all of that even the Little Mexico area. The old Carrillo house on Young Street is the worst as far as I know. That property was and old town cemetery before St. Joseph but only the tomb stones were moved. I should know my grandmother (Trinidad Carrillo) lived there; she slept during the day and prayed every night with rosary in hand. Finally after one terrible night she and my grandfather cousin came to stay with us until they found a new home, but it follows you. It's always there watching. Submitted by anonymous

When I was eleven years old I came to spend Christmas break at my grandma's house on north Pecos Street. She lived in a white house. I remember one night waking up in my aunt's bedroom to singing ghosts in her closet! It sounded like a choir of ghostly voices with a unique melody! I was paralyzed with fear and wasn't able to get up. My mom had also spent the night in the same room. She woke up with a perfect giant shape of the state of Texas on her forearm! We were from Kansas just visiting my grandma.

Soon after that experience I would see lights turn off on and on. Things fly across the kitchen, and we would hear other family mention seeing shadows with red eyes. One night I decided to sleep with my grandma and woke up with gusty wind knocking stuff all around her bedroom. I shouted for my grandma to wake up, but she never could. Her space heater had a flame of fire coming directly at me!!
Finally my dad came in the room because he heard my screaming. Everything had stopped! Stuff was all over the floor, and my grandma said she wasn't aware of it, but that she did believe me! Over the years my memories have left me to wonder what was that I had experienced and why? I'm very curious of the history of that house. Submitted by Samantha
