I was walking along Main Street at night. It was right around 9:30. I looked up at the Nimitz Hotel and saw a man in early 19th century clothing. I looked at him and didn't think twice. Well, that was until I remembered that that window is up near the ceiling where nobody could get to it. Also that room is just storage, and nobody should be up there. The man turned to his left and just disappeared. I am a local, so I walk past there going to the convenience
store, and I can tell you that was not the last time that I saw a man in that window.|

It's been a week since we left Fredericksburg. Let's just say it was an experience I won't forget. We went there to celebrate our 20-year wedding anniversary. We try to go there every two years to get away from the big city of Houston. We usually stay at a cabin type house on someone's property, sort of like a B&B but a lot more private. We always enjoy the history of these places. We arrived at our place which is five mile from Fredericksburg close to Luckenbach. I believe it was called Cain City at one time.
In pictures our small home looked beautiful. When we arrived the house looked the same, just a little bit more worn out at first glance. We went to the lock box and grab keys. We went inside to explore our new home for the next two days. The home had central air and was beautiful inside. You could sense the history in it. It was rather small with just two bedrooms. We went to the master room to stay but realized there was no ceiling fan. We said to ourselves that we would just buy a fan. When we went to the second bedroom there was a ceiling fan, so we decided that was where we would sleep. (This room was part of the original home.) The master was added on as well as restrooms.
We had dinner reservations. At 6:00 p.m. my wife jumped into the shower. I was still exploring. I came across a guest memory book in the living room, so I started reading about previous guest and their stays. I also noticed several pages were torn out of the book. I came across one saying ''we loved the house, but the ghost was creepy.'' Another one said the ghost wouldn't let them sleep. I'd say I'm not a ghost believer. However, but I told myself I would not tell my wife about these comments. No way. She would definitely freak out, so I didn't say anything.
