hour before I fell asleep.
The next day we were up and gone by 9:30 a.m. We had our breakfast, went shopping, went to some wineries, and ended up in Luckenbach all day for more drinking, dancing, and people watching. We arrived back to our weekend home, and the car made a funny noise. I turned the engine off then on again. Something was definitely wrong with the battery. My wife said ''leave me here and go buy a new battery.'' I said ''no, you're

coming with me.'' We got it taken care of and came back. We were so tired, so we were in bed by 9:30 p.m.
I was already asleep when someone either

grabbed me really hard in my gut or punched me hard. I opened my eyes, and I could kind of see a white man with dark hair in his 30s. He asked me ''where's your dad at?''. At the same time right outside our window the loudest cat squealing was heard. It had to be right outside our window because my wife also woke up. We heard it three more times (four in total). She asked me if I was going to look. Hell no. I was not going to look.
