after that. I looked at the time, and it was 4:01 a.m., so every day at 4:00 a.m. this ghost or spirit would come to you or want you to leave. We were awake at 7:30 a.m. and gone by 8:00 a.m. I didn't tell my wife till we passed San Antonio. She was so freaked out because she experienced everything without knowing about other people's previous ghost encounters.

We were staying at a B&B on Main Street. It was very nice, and we loved the room. We had popped by throughout the day to drop off things we bought and never saw anyone. That night I was sound asleep. Then at 2:00 am footsteps in the hall woke me up. I thought it was just someone going to their room. Then it sounded like they were pacing in front of our room. I figured they were waiting for somebody. Then I started hearing what I thought was whispering, but I realized it was too even, that it was someone breathing. It was very loud as if they were right beside me.

Then they started messing with the locks on our door. At this point my eyes were open and looking at the door. Right above our door was one of those small rectangle windows with a little curtain over it. When you were lying down you could see under the curtain. While I was looking at the door because our locks were being messed with a head appeared in that little window. I could not see any features, but I could definitely make out that it was a head looking into our room. I turned on the lamp, and everything stopped. Needless to say, we were gone in minutes and never saw anyone in the hall.

I was walking along Main Street at night. It was right around 9:30. I looked up at the Nimitz Hotel and saw a man in early 19th century clothing. I looked at him and didn't think twice. Well, that was until I remembered that that window is up near the ceiling where nobody could get to it. Also that room is just storage, and nobody should be up there. The man turned to his left and just disappeared. I am a local, so I walk past there going to the convenience store, and I can tell you that was not the last time that I saw a man in that window.
