Old Gail high correctly known as old Gayhill high was a landmark of my childhood. My first visit and first ghost encounter was in 1997. My best friend and I were in the 4th grade at the time. Her parents knew we enjoyed a good ghost story so they thought they would take us to a real ghost house in order to spark or possibly kill our interest.

Armed with two flashlights and a video camera with night vision I kc and ken took off into the school. Nothing significant happened while inside the school other than part of the roof (that hadn't previously fallen) falling and hearing a few unexplained sounds...
We were in the school for around 2 hours... Upon leaving we reviewed the video tape. I had been manning the video camera and saw nothing unusual while taping. In the tape there was unexplained audible tapping on the wall of a classroom the squeaking of the old metal moving however there was no wind and a few other explained voices.
As we had been leaving the school I loudly exclaimed OK ghosts, were leaving. If you ever wanted to be seen, now is your chance. I then panned the camera in a circle from the front doors of the school all the way around overlooking the cafeteria and entry foyer and back to the main doors.
