In the mid 1970s as a child we lived in an apartment complex near Walnut Glenn Elementary School and Walnut Creek and it was seriously haunted by a shadow man.
That's what I called him. He terrorized me we ended up moving because of it. I would wake up to him breathing down the back of my neck. He would blow cold air in my face he would laugh to my face. He was a shadow that would walk around and even stand in the middle of the living room and watch us as we watched TV.
A really scary experience for an 8 year old boy. My memaw lived there first; didn't say anything to anyone and gave the apartment to my mom sister and myself. After I ran out of there screaming my grandmother mom aunt and their many friends came clean about it.

I believe that my mom found out that years previously a man had stabbed his mother and wife to death and then killed himself.
