all. Again the fireman came to mind as well as the sisters dancing above the bed. I was never afraid to be in the home but odd things did happen. Submitted by Mary

I've lived in Georgetown my whole life and I am an adult now. This story is true. However I have never heard of this story taking place at Village elem. It is located at the playground a Annie Purl Elementary.

And it's actually a girl. The story is that a young girl used to live not too far from the school. Her mother was abusive and at night she would sneak out and go on the swings at the playground. She ended up dying due to the abuse of her mother.

Usually some teens go down there at night around 1 or 2. Turn off the lights and walk down to the swings. I've done it before and it's creepy as hell. I went on a quiet summer night no wind at all.
Yet after a while of sitting there just as we were about to leave the swing started moving higher and higher. I had a friend who used to live in the old house where the girl lived. Her room was near the front door. Some nights we would hear a screen door open and close late at night. But there was no screen door. Submitted by Someone Who Knows The Truth
