I was born and raised in Georgetown. My family and I have lived in several homes there. But one in particular I can definitely say was haunted. The house was on Highland Drive just off 24th St. and Austin Ave. however is no longer there. My mom and dad were divorced at the time. My dad moved into that house in early 1991. In Dec. 1992 my dad passed away. My mom moved into that house immediately after. Since he passed I had noticed strange things happening in the house.

Scratching noises which could have been mice but were never explained. My right leg was slapped while I was sitting on my bed one day with my feet on the ground. I checked under my bed, nothing there.

I saw an a apparition in the bathroom which is were the strange scratching noises were coming from. The apparition was a white smoke or mist in the shape of a disembodied face. Also the TV in the living room would turn on and off by itself very rapidly. The remote was on the floor next to me, I didn't step or sit on it. And as far as I know TV's usually don't do that. I think this was my dad due to the fact that that's where he lived when he died and none of us recall anything strange going on in the house before he died. Submitted by Bryan
