Some versions of the story also have the horn honking, frantically. No one was seen anywhere near the old car at the time of the incident.

The ghost of a small child can sometimes be seen after midnight standing at the intersection of Austin ave and Williams Dr. He was killed while crossing the street in 2006. Some claim that he will run in front of your car if you run the flashing red light late at night.

Comment by Abby: I don't think this is true. I live right next to the snow cone place right in front of the Austin-Williams intersection. I've snuck out various times and have never seen a small child. There was one time however in 2013 when some teenagers were driving out from the McDonalds entrance (the one on Williams side) and some how sped and could not break.
They ran into the auto parts store breaking the window. No one was hurt but at the distance from the McDonalds to across the street at the auto parts it's only a few hundred ft. They must have had some serious car problem to jump over that ditch at the Austin ave and Williams Dr.
Intersection.... Maybe they saw the boy and tried not to hit him?? It was only about 11 pm.
