I was in the woods behind my house. A weird shadow like thing went closer and closer to me. I was scared it was moving fast. Then I realize it was a spirit or something because it went though something; I thought would keep it away from me.
Till this day I've never went back there but I have a person that lives next to me and he goes back there all the time. He doesn't see it; all he sees is animals and the river. This is the first time I have had a person living next to me that didn't see it.

All of the old people that lived there saw it but how did he not see it. Are me and the other people that lived in that house one of them? We saw it but he didn't. I don't understand why but he never saw it and never moved away.

I have two stories. I'll start off with the less frightening story then tell about the horrible things that happen in my house. About four years ago me and my grandmother who used to be a cop were invited by one of her officer friends to work at the haunted for Halloween. She said that they need a couple more people, so my grandmother decided to let me, my dad and my aunt help. At the time I was eleven, and I was already scared to go into an old abandoned jail. I'm pretty sure my grandma said something about working there a while back and how countless inmates would commit suicide, but I think she was trying to scare me.
It was about a week before the haunted jail thing would start, so me and my grandmother went to go decorate our cell. We were lucky no one else was there, and we could just decorate. Me and her went up to the second floor and start putting stuff up, and that was when stuff started to get spooky. We heard running, and it sounded close by. We both froze. My grandmother asked if there was any one there. Then we heard a loud banging sound repeatedly. We put our stuff in our cell then quickly made our way out of the jail. The only way we would come back is if it was crowded with people decorating witch didn't happen a lot in a week, so our cell sucked.
