I used to attend the Marine Military Academy, and the upperclassmen would always tell us stories about something in our Charlie Company barracks. They said something would repeatedly run down the top deck hall over the drill instructor's apartment. My first room was over the DI's apartment and at that end of the hall. After the first couple of days there my roommate asked if I was standing at the bottom of his bed staring at him during the night. Of course I said no because I was exhausted.
Several months later toward the end of that first year my roommate and I had moved down the hall, but I had become friends with the two guys that now lived right across from our old room. One night we got to talking about strange things, and one of the guys said ''you know, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, and there is a black shadow standing at the bottom of my bed staring at me.''

Later my roommate woke me up in the middle of the night and said the ghost was running down the hall. We stayed up and sure enough we heard the running. A few minutes later the SDO went walking through the halls with his flashlight looking for something. .

I live in R. Apartments and a few nights ago I was upstairs reading The Giver. I couldn't stop reading; it was a little after one in the morning when I heard in the stairs right out my door a shhhh sound.
