The school I work at, HMS is haunted. I have heard a little girl laughing around 8.

I have been a Huffman resident for over 30 years. We live in a very rural setting on the East Fork of the San Jacinto River. My wife and I built our house about 23 years ago on raw land after it was cleared.
About 18 years ago I experienced an older man and a young girl walking through our living room late at night. I had been asleep on the couch while watching TV when out of nowhere this man dressed in what looked like a suit which might have been worn in the 1800s walked through with a young girl of about 5 or 6 dressed in a dress of the same era.

I thought I might have been experiencing a waking dream but I looked over at our pet dog Brutus, a boxer who was staring at the exact spot where the apparitions appeared. These same apparitions appeared numerous times over the next few years and at times you could hear the little girl laughing quietly as if she were playing.

My wife being a little upset began salting the corners of our house and smudging sage throughout the house and the encounters ceased as quickly as they had begun. One day I went wandering through the woods next to our house and found an old houseplace that I never knew existed.
There were the remains of old wooden support blocks and 4 ancient oak trees that were located as if they specifically had been planted to shade the houseplace from the western sun. I somehow believe that these apparitions lived there and may have died from an early flood of the river.
