In 1991 there was a shooting at a Taco Bell in Irving off 183 killing 4 people the site has been demolished but it's still creepy. We decided to investigate; we got lots of orbs and we recorded an EVP on my friend's voice recorder.

Growing up in Irving, Texas back in the 1970s, I heard of several ghost stories that involved the area near Esters Road where my family lived. The story was that a man was killed and still haunted a square radius of 183 to Northgate and 114 to Esters Road. I heard reports indicated that he would appear only after the sighting of a large German Shepherd who acted as though it wanted you to follow. If you did so, the dog would lead you to a bush or a clump of trees then seemingly disappear with no visible signs of leaving it from every direction.
At age eleven or twelve I was skeptical or unafraid until one day when I went for an afternoon ride with my pony. I came upon a German Shepherd standing in the middle of the pathway. I hesitated to go forward. Then the dog turned and sauntered toward a bend in the road to the right a couple of feet away. It then turned abruptly into a bush on the left, but I did not see it come out of the bush. Concerned and a little curious that it was the Ghost Dog of Esters Road, I reined my pony around the bush several times finding tracks leading into the bush but not out of it. Of course there was no sign that the dog was inside the bush hiding. After my curiosity was satisfied I continued on my afternoon ride excited that I saw something that only a few have ever seen.
