In Killeen, Texas I took my daughter for a walk around the block on Schulze Dr. As we were walking over the bridge we heard a baby cry in the ditch. My daughter looked at me and I told her to stay there as I peered left and right. The sound was coming from the left and I told my daughter to run back to our house and tell mommy. I walked left and saw a peculiar tree with a hole in it. The baby was inside the huge hole but when I reached for it the baby wasn't there any more.

I then went home and told my wife. We lived there until June 27 2001 and I could still hear the baby's cry every time I walked by. On that day we got out of the house and moved to Oklahoma.

When I first got stationed here at Ft. Hood, in 1999, I lived in the barracks on Support Avenue. That place was so spooky to live at, so I moved out, and I got an apartment in Willow Springs. One day I was cooking dinner, and I heard my two-year old scream. I asked her ''why did you scream?'' She said ''a man was at the door and walked into our bedroom. '' I was so scared. I searched the apartment. I found nothing (and our apartment was so small; it was a one-bedroom), I asked if she was sure. She said ''yes mama, there was an old man at the door!'' A couple of weeks later the same thing happened again. I was thinking to myself ''what is going on?''I searched our apartment again, and found nothing. I thought maybe my child was just in shock because we both moved away from all of our family and friends.
Then one day my daughter and I were eating dinner. She stopped eating, and I looked at her and glanced to see what she was staring at. I looked up to see a man standing there. I was shocked. I could see through him! We just watched him walk from the door into our bedroom. I got up and looked in the room, and he was gone. The next day I went up to the front office and asked if this area or the apartment was haunted. The staff looked at me like I was crazy and left the office. There was another staff member at the computer. He told me to sit down. He told me that all the Willow Springs area used to be Indian burial grounds, and that the whole area was haunted. I just sat there thinking ''omg! No ways!''
