Hello, I used to not believe in ghosts until one day I came to this small town. I have family here, and I had come for winter break. Now I usually don't care much for ghost stories or anything to do with the supernatural, but I am intrigued by something that has happened to me. I was at my uncle's house. I'm not sure what street it is exactly, but it is by a park named The Pioneer Park. I was walking with my cousin around the park, and as we got closer to the swings and little play area, we found little child's clothes. It was kind of weird to think that random child's clothes would be at a park by community. Well, me and my cousin had started to joke about it, and as we were walking, we heard what seemed to be running behind us. We turned around to expect to see someone behind us, but no one was there. I got shivers down my spine. Then we booked it and left back to my uncle's.
That night I was watching TV, and I heard knocking at the door, so I went to see who it was so late at night. I looked out the little diamond on the door and saw no one, but as I looked across the street towards the park, I saw what appeared to be a child sitting on the picnic benches that were out there. I was shocked and thought that I was seeing things, but as I kept looking, the child kept looking my way. Nothing ever happened after that, but I have always been just a little rattled after that. I looked up Lamesa to see if there had been any other reporting, and found this website. If anyone has ever had an experience at the park like I have, please let me know if you know something about a child going missing or something. Thanks!.

I am currently attending Lamesa High School. I am so frightened with the sights that I encountered. I have seen shadows around the school and heard two girls screaming in the hallways. I looked up other ghost stories around Lamesa just to make for sure I'm not going crazy. Submitted by Harold

At Lamesa High School there have been several reports from the children who are terrified to even step into the cafeteria early in the morning. Clanking sounds in the kitchen when no one is cooking or serving.
