All of my family lives in Lamesa, I myself grew up there too. I have necer eer heard such things. It is a beautiful, old town. Everyone there is kind and welcomes you with open arms. It is a shame to hear people calling it a dark eerie town.

One place in Lamesa, Texas not recommended to stay at that would be any house on Waldrop Wells property. I have stayed there for a few months and lets just say I didn't stay much longer? ''fair warning''.
