When I got closer to the man he was no longer there only a cross stood where the man had been standing. I guess his soul was still wandering by the accident scene. (Laredo Texas). Submitted by Alex

In the mid 90's I worked as a security guard at La Posada Hotel. The only that ever freaked me out was one night I was on walk patrol at one of the parking lot floors. I was waiting for an elevator door to open and by the reflection of the shiny elevator door I saw a tall, slender old man behind me who I figured was also waiting for the door to open.

When the doors finally opened, I stepped aside to let the man go in firs, but to my surprise he was gone. Impossible thing for any human to do.

Back in 7 / 28/91 I had my child at old Mercy Hospital and went back 4 days later to pick up some papers, but I got lost in the elevator, and went to what I think was the basement. I went back and forth looking for the place I needed to go to and a nun came out of nowhere. I knew there were nuns at the hospital and I asked her if there was a way out and she pointed at a door, I said thank you! And pushed the door open I almost fainted when I saw what I figured was the morgue. I looked back at her and she was gone, she never spoke a word and looked at me with a stiff look on her face that gave me the grips. I don't remember how I got out of that place, but when I went back up I told a worker about it and she told me that the hospital was in fact haunted, and people report seeing a nun and she described her to me and there I was all over again with chills up my spine. I had just spoken to a ghost, dear lord!!.
