This use to be an area where Indians made their way... So yes their will be spirits in any area.. Also other people who have passed on in any state country or town.... The goal.. Is to talk to them....
With god and protection for your mental spiritual and your soul. First tell them that they are dead and have passed on or to let go of their revenge or anger and that god will take care of them, and to move onto the ''light'' and they will find peace....

More to this story... But say blessings for them to move on, and away into the light and loved ones and family.. I have had to talk them away... Many stories I could tell you... Pray for your soul proctection always first..

One night we were standing by the lake throwing rocks in the water it was very cold and you could see the fog rising on the lake.. We heard a distant moan... It was a woman moaning help. We looked up and she was running at us across the water... @ hide a way lake.
