UMC and Covenant Hospital have lots of ghost sightings and voices that come out from nowhere.

Comment by David: I am not sure about UMC but I know that Covenant Hospital is in fact haunted but not in a scary way that I have ever encountered. There is the little boy ghost who appears to elderly people who are nearing death.
The irony is that he appears in a part of the hospital which was never a children's care unit or wing. The patients and nurses all describe the child in exactly the same way. On one occasion I was waiting in the adult ER for my wife to come back from some test.
I was walking around her room and thinking to myself when I suddenly saw two women pass one another in the hall but they immediately vanished. A guy laying on a bed in another room looking as if he was waiting for a bus and a woman sitting in the chair I had placed my drink.
They all disappeared when I wanted them to go.

I am a CNA at Trustpoint Hospital where upstairs is BHU (Behavioral Health Unit) on one end which is a lock down unit and the other hall is fast track rehab, an open hallway as any other regular hall way.
One night I was sitting in a room with a patient on the fast track hallway when I saw a man's face rise out of the wall. The figure was black but very clear. It scared me so I opened the door. A few moments later the man from the room next door to the one I was in on the side from where the figure arose came into the hallway and asked the nurse if he could have a new room because his was haunted.
About three weeks later the respiratory specialist informed me that that hallway was once BHU too, that the whole second floor had been a lock down unit for those with mental health and behavioral issues.
