I was born and raised here, and nothing about Malakoff is scary at all just the people in it, but there are ghosts. I live off Barron Court in an apartment duplex and have one here. It has only acted out towards my ex-husband thinking it didn't like him. We were sitting on the couch talking, joking round, and laughing. Then all the sudden my whole thing of laundry soap flew off dryer that wasn't on in to the wall. It slid cross the floor pouring out every

drop. That is about it. I have never heard ever about Dewey Street.

I really want to know what happened in the town of Malakoff. People would move in then move right out. I think there are several spirits or demons at a home on the two hundred block on W. Dewey Street. I really need to know what happened there. I wish I could go to the library and check out their history, but I'm 2000 miles away. That town creeps me out even more so at night or early mornings.

I used to live with my brother in Malakoff on W. Dewey Street, and let's just say I don't even like going to visit now. I had to be at work by 5:30 a.m., and I would always be woken up by 3 bangs on the wall where my bed would be at 3:33 a.m. I didn't think anything of it until it was the 5th night in a row with same bangs and knocks. I woke up terrified and turned on the lights. Then I heard loud wind noise out my window. Mind you, it was summer time in Texas. There was no wind, and it was humid out, so I turned the radio on because the noise scared me. Then I saw the knob turning down the volume itself. I ran out the room. That was the fir1st time. I moved out.
