My husband and I moved into a small old trailer off of FM 1462 behind the Phillips 66 gas station about a mile from 288. We were young newlyweds that got a good deal on this little house. I have always been able to sense when houses have an eerie feel to them and I knew this house had something up with it, but since my in-laws were buying I did not have much of a say. A few things happened here. I was told that an old man lived there, but he died in

a hospital which I do not know if I believe because I felt he was still around the house. I told my husband that I thought the house was haunted, but
|
he did not believe me. Then one night we were lying down about to go to sleep. The dryer switched on which was close to our bedroom. We were talking and all of a sudden we heard a man's voice. I looked at my husband, and he just froze. I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head. We could not see the man, but we heard him nibbling over the dryer. Right then and there my husband was a believer!
