I had a friend in NJ. We worked at a gas station and he was the mechanic. We both liked Star Trek. We had mutual respect and I would go hang out occasionally even after I didn't work there. He moved to McKinney and I moved to California and I didn't know what happened to him until I had a weird dream where he was standing in front of me and shook hands and said ''it was good seeing you again''.
I googled him and he had died a few months before.

Found the obituary. A while later he appeared again and told me I should leave LA and it was starting to suck there so I took his advice.

My family and I used to live on College St just a hop skip and a jump from downtown McKinney. My dad researched the property which was built in 1881 at a time when deceased homeowners lied in state in their homes.
While we lived there my grandmother and my sister both died. Both of them had lived in a small one bedroom bungalow behind the main house. My husband son and I moved in into the bungalow after my sister's death in 2000.
