Comment by Will: Kim, you are right. The reason that people think they are loved ones is because the spirits were familiar with their loved ones and took on the character of that loved one. They're called familiar spirits.

My family and I moved into a brand new house in Mckinney TX in 1999. We lived in that house for the next 9 years. I believe the home was cursed as soon as we moved in bad things started happen. I got hives all over my body I went to the doctor and the doctor had no explanation for the hives.
Other strange things continued to happen sometimes we would see shadow figures upstairs my brother would hear heavy breathing when no one else was there and I heard footsteps walking up the stairs when I was home alone.
Sometimes my brother's remote control cars would turn on and move by themselves in the middle of the night. I feel sorry for whoever lives there now.
