Comment by anonymous: We also lived on 45th Lane on Bentsen Road, we moved already but we had the same happened to us. I am happy to hear we were not the only ones having these problem. At the time we thought it was nothing we tried ignoring it but it got worse. My daughter couldn't sleep and she felt there was always something around her. There were sounds like scratching on the walls and other things we couldn't explain. The house was our first but I know now for a fact that something is roaming around. Know I am happy we don't live there any more .

My grandmother passed away on January 10th, 2009. It was a month before my son was born. She was under hospice, and we had her bed set up in her living room. I remember sitting at the foot of her bed on a recliner waiting. My family had already turned off her oxygen, and we were all just waiting and counting down till that moment. Anyway, after her death I decided to move in with my grandfather. A week before last Christmas I decided to take out all the decorations and put everything up. It was time to move on and not be sad. Plus it would be a nice surprise for my grandfather since he was out of town. Christmas was always a huge thing in this house. My grandmother has so many ornaments and decorations. I remember that evening so clearly.

My son was with at his dad, so I was home alone. I found a frosty the snowman wind-up thing that plays music. I remembered my grandma always put it up. As I wound it up to hear it play the whole song I began to cry. It finished playing, and I put it up on the shelf and decided it was time to stop for the night. I went to my room locked the door and started watching TV. It was around 3:15 am or so when the frosty the snowman started playing the entire song. Then I heard four footsteps, and then they stopped. I froze and felt my heart sink. I was so scared to go look in the living room, but I mustered up the courage, and of course no one was there. There was no way that song could have played unless someone wound-up the thing again.
I called my mom right away. She was out at a restaurant with her friends. I told her in a panic what had just happened. She told me to check the house, and I reassured her no one was here. She then said ''it was probably your grandma. '' I told her ''yeah, whatever! I am not religious, but grandma was. If she believed in heaven, well that's where she is, and I doubt she'd stick around. '' That night I slept with one of my grandma's rosaries, regardless of me being a nonbeliever. I will never forget those footsteps. They sounded heavy like a man's. Ever since then weird stuff happens around here and always around 3:00 am if I am awake. Who knows maybe all those other times it was just my mind playing tricks, or maybe my grandmother was here for Christmas. Submitted by Cassie
