My wife and I had just moved into what we thought was a cozy little two-bedroom apartment on South Colorado Street in Mercedes, Texas. It was on the top floor, apartment number 5. At first when we moved in we had heard rumors from the neighbors that strange things had happened in that place, but we were happy newlyweds. When she got up to check it out she saw the light switch move up, and the light turned on, and no one was in the room. She called me right away, and I tried to calm her down.
