Comment by Hill: If you are talking about the house on the corner of golf course and Garfield caddy corner from the fire station they moved that house out by a cleachy pit by Midkiff and I20. We used to ride horses out there and watched them move it out there. I wonder if it still has activity.
Comment by anonymous: I grew up hearing the same story about the special needs girl. We actually walked around the property and it was pretty creepy.
Comment by T: Midge Erskines Bird Lady house is still on golf course, not torn down. They changed so much in the area. It's easy to think it was further down where the medical center is, but it's west. I'm a researcher good with census records and deeds and finding lost friends and family. I think researching into places like these would be fun. Womensan @ aol. com.

I go to Goddard Jr High School, on the second floor one of the science rooms gives people chills as they walk in. Once I was walking in to class and a shadow passed from the front door to the back of the room, a few books were stacked up in the back and as soon as the shadow passed them they were tossed up in the air and landed all over the room.
The fire blanket which was mounted onto the wall also crashed to the ground. The girls' locker room is also haunted so I'm told, because of a girl who passed away there in the year the school was opened.
