Yeah I got many bizarre stories. Just get me a Shiner with a grilled chicken sandwich, you'll get me going. I forgot my wedding ring after 1 week marriage. I got to gravy briefing late. I got assigned to clear a domestic disturbance with a partner. He had over 15 years on. As we neared the scene, we witnessed a light drop from the sky. We stopped on our tracks and looked at each other. That's a UFO. We used to have giant cameras on our dash with a black and white TV screen, and we captured it on tape. When we got back we bragged to the others.
Well, after separating into different police cruisers 4 hours later, we found ourselves in car chase. MCPD had rules not to chase outside their town. We chased till they dropped. Seldom do cops get to experience drawing their weapon and firing at someone. It was definitely a night to remember. I survived dozens of rounds and know first hand how it feels being ambushed. That's where the line was drawn between comrades and arm chair QBs who twisted story telling years later it wouldn't be the last but just beginning for me.

My brother never came back. He is RIP, but the story was kept hush. Well, that light turned out to be the space shuttle coming in. What were the odds of seeing it right. Being late because of my band was just coincidence or maybe a pre-cognition to chain of events. The greatest memory was having my beautiful wife by my side upon ice packs removal.

Yeyeti's in the woods. Crazy. Nahh it's just large jaguarondi but looks human. People sometimes confuse it as an ocelot, but it's got a man face and stands on its hind legs grabbing cacti fruit or other shrubs. It's got a ferret or otter type body as it pounces away but lightning fast. They are night critters and harmless but scared of humans. Check out the Roma Bluff. They've been around forever along the Rio Grande. Submitted by Retired MPD Officer
