No lies about Mission. You just gotta be there to see for yourself. Who else can see crazy stuff but Leos and other night owl workers. You gotta be crazy to go hunt without getting a paycheck. Real as the headless lady. Yup! I have seen her. Other Leos also, one time in a clothing store and two others in separate schools. She was a super climber and moved like the zombies in the mummy. The school vents have eyes that glow yellow, and one school floor bleeds entire hallway. Hung people on trees, lots have seen them. Some were cut down like the tran slayings in late 1988-89. Yup! Real!
How about the real nightmare on Elm Street? Yup, that was real. A guy high on drugs committed dozen crimes in a few Mikes. Mission is full of ghosts and goblins. You have gotta be crazy to be a cop in this town. A lot of dead zones too. They say people go in 3s. It is sad but true. Fare and destiny, what are the odds of working a crash with parties having same DOB, same name, or same color make model, and almost same LP. Oh! a giant white cow, not sheep, a lady in white gown, plus the chow with a cow bell that strikes your car with its head and leaves a scratch or dent. Happy Halloween. Not you. But the guy with yellow eyes standing behind...lol.

This happened in the early 1990s during a response to an assault in progress. I was first on scene. It was rainy weather. The perp exited window, followed by hot pursuit. The guy disappeared behind the house. There was nowhere to hide. Then there was some noises on the second story rooftop. I climbed up some crates. Then second foot chase. Body tackle. We both tumbled down. I was out of pocket rib fractured. Perp bounced and body tackled by two colleagues. Perp busted handcuffs then escaped. Clothesline tackled. He was hog tied. He bit chunk off colleague and spat out blood. Blue blanket party. Perp broke hog tie, broke handcuffs, broke my colleague's nose, and broke out the cruiser window. He escaped, and we were on foot chase. He was finally in custody and was hospital bound. Cardiac arrest O.D. 7 down with first injuries. At the end the perp had no recollection. He was possessed. We suspected volatile chems. He was 5'5 100 lb. Thankfully the victim survived. There is such a thing as zepletoids. Watch your 6. Happy and safe Halloween. Submitted by MPD retired

People's spirits leave their bodies minutes even up to an hour after they are pronounced dead. When you get there as a Leo you do what you can go above and beyond. Sometimes they call out names or say things that don't make sense. Often if you share with next of kin, they don't understand. They hate you for not saving. Yeah, there is angels and demons. You can't always see them. They just come in different form shape and size. The hard part is saying you're going to be ok! When their bodies are torn up, burnt, severed decapitated, and there's no way they can be alive, or the shape of their car is so out of whack that nobody could survive. It's beyond your pay grade.
