Ever since I was little my great grandmother always told me never to walk outside in the dark because if I do the night watcher would get me. So one night I had seen something outside her window and I didn't think anything about it so I just continued to watch TV but then a few minutes later I noticed it again.
As a result I was a little scared so I walked out onto the porch and of course I saw nothing but then I saw a man standing by the gate so I

ran inside and got a flashlight but then when I looked out at the gate again there was nothing there.
The next day I told my great grandmother that

I saw a shadowed figure by the gate and she said ''See I told the if you go out by yourself the night watcher would be there watching you but you never do listen''. Ever since then I have never gone outside by myself.

When I was growing up in Pearsall Texas. I heard the stoerie of La yorona. The cryer. It was said the long ago she through her 2 kids in the Frio river. And now late at nithe her spirit romes around looking for then. You can hear her cyies.
