Nearly twenty years past my family and I decided to visit lake canyon. I remembered one of the routes to get there ended up near a low water crossing road near the rear wall of an earthen dam with lots of vegetation covering it. I felt an uneasy feeling of spirits within the area. I continue on towards the park where the lake was and yet felt this strange feeling of spirits following. Recalling the lake had a past troubled history where people lost their lives during floods boating and swimming incidents.

I visit my friend in New Braunfels all the time mainly because I am in Laredo and not that much of a long distance. My best friend Reese lived in a house by hwy 46 and that's where all of us would hang out. Now one summer by in 2007 we has a friend from Chicago visit when she told us she noticed a rather strange looking dog. Now this dog had no owners but had tags from other dog. We never figured it out and since the house was next to a shop where they fixed boats and things like that we figured it belonged to them. When they told me no we just figured that the dog would go away. Each night this dog would just stare into the house and look for a way in. When we tried shooing it away it just stand up and back away a few feet. We all know and understand dogs eyes glow but this one his eyes glowed an eerie yellow. The dog was not afraid of us and it always tried to get into the house. It growled and tried to scare us away from the house and we never understand why. The dog never showed in the daytime and we never saw it drink nor eat. The other dogs would bark frantically when this mysterious dog showed and always tried to hide from it. The dog gave me a weird vibe and made me feel very anxious. When my friends decided to move the dog did not appear until the following night when we had to go pick some boxes we left behind. The house grew cold and it was right in the middle of summer. How could the house be that cold? We just felt watched and nervous and we looked outside then dog was there waiting for us.
