My family moved to New Deal my freshman year of high school. I never saw anything wrong or felt it was ''haunted'' until my senior year of high school. It was December and I was up late in my house wrapping presents.
My little sister had just came home from band and we were the only ones awake. We were standing in the dining room when we heard what sounded like feet heavily trotting on the roof back and forth, back and forth.

only above where we were standing. Every time it would step about where my shoulder ended, it would turn around and go back to where her shoulder was

as if to only step above us. We both didn't say anything, we just stared at each other afraid.
Then we heard what sounded like women's high heels or men's dress shoes walking in our kitchen which had ceramic tile. We both left everything as is and ran to her room. That night when I started falling asleep I had my eyes closed and was close to unconsciousness when I heard the door open and felt somebody lay something on my bed.
