About 15 years ago, I stayed over at my parents house with my niece while my parents were away for the weekend. We had stayed up late watching movies. I was having a hard time putting my children to sleep.
Finally I got them to go to bed. The bedroom being at the other end of the house. I went to the bathroom to change into pjs and on my way back I saw a little girl standing in the kitchen so I stood in the hall yelling at her ''didn't I tell you to go to bed'' she didn't move so I yelled at her again and my daughter answered from the opposite direction ''i am laying down mom''.

That's when I realized that my daughter wasn't wearing a white gown and she didn't have blonde hair. Since then we hear weird noises like people talking, and floor boards squeaking and doors opening.

Looking for the old insane asylum in Odessa, TX. Supposed to be on the west side and looks like an old Spanish hospital.

Comment by Heather: To Angel: the Spanish-style house that you speak of that looks like it could have been an old ''insane asylum'' is actually the Gulf Oil headquarters and is located on West 2nd Street. A fire from November of 2001 destroyed the 1st and 3rd stories but is now being rebuilt.
