I never believed in ghots stories until I went to Blackshear. Me and my friend were just in the bathroom talking about what people were telling me. And me the new girl heard a lot of ghost stories, but I thought they were just trying to scare me.
My friend told me not to worry but right when she told me the lights went out and we heard the last stall door opening and closing then the lights came back on and on the door it said get out now !! Me and my friend ran out of their and told our other friends, but they didn't believe us.

Up to this day they don't believe us but me and my friend know what we saw.

Many years ago here in Odessa, it has been said, a young girl was killed in one of the high schools auditorium. It's been said that if you park your car and turn off the ignition, in the front of the school at midnight and flash your headlights three times, the girls ghost will appear.
As a result, the car doors lock and the car won't start.

Comment by Anonymous: That's the myth of Betty. She didn't die in the school, and nothing happens if you sit in your car by the school. She did die, but she was shot out in a field in west Odessa and thrown in a pond back in 1960, and the killer got away with it. Google Betty Williams Odessa, and you will find the story. People think she haunts the gym because she liked acting in plays when she was in high school. Your mind can make you believe what you want and see what you want. Doesn't always mean it's true, or does it?.
